- The Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD): Ministerial meeting of IGAD countries ( Djibouti , Kenya , Eritrea , Ethiopia , Somalia , Sudan and Uganda ) on mainstreaming gender throughout the IGAD Conflict Early Warning and Response Mechanism (CEWARN), 25 November 2002.
- The Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD): Ministers in charge of Women/Gender Affairs, Women Parliamentarians, and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and local women's NGOs from IGAD countries (Djibouti, Kenya, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan and Uganda) met to discuss the integration of a gender perspective in the resolution of armed conflicts in the East and Horn of Africa region, 15-16 October 2001.
